Leah had sat in the train compartment by herself for a good thirty minutes already which was honestly a record for her. She had never been the most patient person outside of the sport that she loved. Her parents and two members of the Ministry had managed to sneak her on board the train without much incident something Leah always argued because frankly it never made much sense seeing as how she had already attended Hogwarts for four years (five if you counted the current one). Everyone KNEW she went to school there. She had friends! Oh Merlin... She had friends. There was a concept that had once been very foreign now it was second nature.
With a bit of a heavy sigh she tilted her head back looking up at the ceiling of the train. She then tilted her head to look out the window as she watched the scenery whisk by. Tree. Tree. Tree. Tree. Were there no cows?! Suddenly she wondered what Potter and his gang were up to. No doubt out of anyone on the train they would be the ones to make some fun up out of this mess but would it really be worth getting up and looking for them? Especially if some new first year managed to see her and realized who she was. The past two years she had to be saved in the train's hallway from overly eager kids clasping at her clothes begging for an autograph. Ravenclaws never had this problem...
Making up her mind she came up with the very valid excuse that she wasn't in her Hogwarts robes yet. Fishing her hand into the chest below her seat she managed to wrap her fingerless glove clad fingers around her Gryffindor tie and white button up shirt accompanied with sweater. The tie hung loosely around her neck as she slid the compartment door open, poking her head out. Coast appeared clear.
Giving herself a nod in a vote of confidence she stepped out into the hall as the train rocked back and forth. Her Hogwarts sweater pull over grasped to her chest as her knees bent, balancing her her blue converse sneakers with a bit of a smirk. Walking down this hall of the train would be like a game. Games she knew well. Games she could handle.
