OVERALLLOOKS| Cale stands tall and proud at six feet two inches tall. He is skinny but not too skinny. He wears his brown hair trimmed short and sometimes spiked. His dark chocolate eyes are penetrating as he stares at you. His skin is tan, because he enjoys spending time outdoors. He is toned, possessing the body of a swimmer but also someone who stays fit. Most of the time he is clean shaven but there are times when he likes bit of scruff.
When not in the required uniform of Spenser's, Caleb prefers to wear jeans and tanks under loose shirts. His style is very much casual but posh at the same time. He isn't vein about his looks and doesn't care to drape himself in designer clothes. He simply likes to be Caleb Danvers, the eldest of his friends and brothers. He can make a suit look good, or even the uniform he has to wear. The one thing he hates wearing though, the tiny little speedo's for swim.

OVERALL PERSONALITY| Confident and protective are probably the two best words to describe Caleb. Since the time he was old enough to understand the ramifications of what it meant to possess the power, he has understood the need for moderation. Seeing first hand how it hurt his father, made him hesitant and a tad over protective of the others. His three best friends, Pogue, Reid and Tyler mean the world to him and he makes sure they know it. In his studies he tries hard, not because he is trying to prove a point but because he truly does value education. Having the goal of wanting to go to Harvard like his father, Caleb works as hard as he can to keep that legacy alive.
Around his friends he's laid back and carefree, most of the time. There are things he doesn't talk about, such as his issues with this father though only three people know the truth there, nor about the many times he's had to detox his mother when the alcohol got to be just too much. He's the type of person that would bail any of his brothers out of trouble, he'd lecture them later but he'd be there for him. Caleb is a good guy with a huge heart that is easily hurt. He loves easily and falls hard but he doesn't always make the best choices.
The side that the world sees is not at all different from the side seen by his best friends. Cale is a traditionalist in many ways, believing that family comes before love and that honor and respect are counterpoint to each other. He longs for someone to truly understand who he is inside. He might have a girlfriend, but he finds he gets bored with her easily. He loves to be kept on his toes to never really know what to expect from a situation.

OVERALL HISTORY| As with all other children of covenant families, Caleb was the only and eldest son born to William Danvers and his wife Evelyn. Both people were happy to have a child, afraid that Evelyn might not have been able too due to an accident. His birth was announced in the local paper and well-wishers flocked to visit them.
Caleb grew up knowing what it mean to have money, what his life was to be like by just the mention of his last name and he hated it. He wanted to be a normal little boy and spend time with his best friends; not have to worry that he might do something to dishonor the name of Danvers. While he understood that he was honored to be born into one of the founding families he hated the curse that came with. Everyone that grew up there knew his name, knew just about everything about his family except for the secret they kept.
At thirteen, his father told him about the power he had inherited. Gave him a lesson on using, and told him the ramifications of such. It was this curse that Caleb hated, the fact that he was born with the ability to call so much power at will and that until he ascended risked a good chance of getting hooked. He watched his best friends use freely and grew concerned for them. He was careful for the first two years, then upon his fifteenth birthday, his father aged himself to the point of almost death.
It was then that Caleb swore he wouldn't allow anything of the like to happen to his best friends. In truth, he was afraid to be alone afraid that he wouldn't be strong enough to risk the temptation. He was thrust into the world of Spenser's and let his head fill the the lessons of school and swimming. It was at school that he felt the least amount of urges to use though he could hear the power calling to him. Being the oldest of his group, made things complicated. Some felt he was being a big brother, others well they just thought he was being over bearing.
Everything was mostly normal in his life until the start of his senior year. It was the year he was dreading, the approach of his eighteenth birthday. It was during the bonfire party at the dells that he met a girl, Sarah Wenham and she captured his interest. Things happened, and a long thought dead fifth member of the covenant appeared. Chase was not someone that Caleb had feared at first, though he should have understood Pogue's concern about him. Chase tricked Caleb into trusting him, allowing the older boy to get close. Sarah was used as a means to try to get Cale to will his powers away upon the day of his ascension but he wasn't that weak. There was a huge fight, and Caleb ascended and kept fighting. Despite Chase having double the power, Cale managed to hold his own at first but he knew the fight would last all night. He had seen the barn ablaze, knew that Sarah was still inside but he didn't know how to end it. He wasn't going to will away his life just to make some psychopath stronger. That was until the unthinkable happened. He was given a second dose of the power and he knew who it came from. His mother had somehow convinced his father to will away his life.
After the battle, Caleb was left standing and Chase had disappeared. He rescued Sarah and managed to visit his friends in the hospital. Things went downhill for a while but they seem to be steadying out. He's trying to harness the urges he has to use and help his friend get over a broken heart, all while trying to graduate from high school.
