Earth that was
The human race has grown too large to be
supported by the dying earth. Testing is
conducted on Earth's moon, Luna, and
the planet Mars. Creating an environment
that will sustain human life is now possible.
The process is aptly called Terra-Forming.
With this technology in hand, the humans
flee their dying world on generation ships
bound for a new galaxy. A better galaxy.
Now the year is 2517
The Alliance is the singular government
in the new universe, having crushed the
last of the resistance at the battle of
Serenity valley. But there is much unrest.
Composed of five Stars, this new system
has a distinct social divide. The further from
the core planets of the white sun, the poorer
and less civilized the world. On the very edge
of known space, Reavers terrorize the outermost
planets, killing raping and eating their victims.
And only the lucky ones get done in that order.
