 You might think that this story is going to be full of sob stories and tear gurchers. This is somewhat true, but all of these stories have a beginning and an end. It's here, in Santa Barbara, California, that people of all ages come to create a new chapter in their lives. Leaving behind abusive parents, the gang ridden streets, or unwelcoming foster homes, are kids of all ages. They don't just come here to forget their paths but also to reflect on what they have experienced and shed a new light on their lives.
Here in Santa Barbara is a large home for teens, a foster home, but also so much more. The home for teens is a place where kids are sent to start over a new life. The house can only house a group of kids at once, but those who leave, leave with a happier road to follow than before. But many of the people who move here to get away from things, don't live in the Home for Teens. They often live amongst the locals of Santa Barbara, sometimes hiding what they've been through and going about life as if none of it ever happened or sharing their pasts with others. No matter where they go in Santa Barbara, there is always someone you can relate to.
