It's been 12 years since You-Know Who was defeated in England. After the Battle of Hogwarts a few lucky Death Eaters managed to escape from the UK to the United States. They have laid low for the past 12 years, gaining reputation back in the wizarding world, working their way up in the American wizarding government, and generally getting established in America. However now they are starting to bring back You-Know-Who's ideas on blood purity. Their message seems to be gaining momentum, especially with the established pure-blood families in the U.S. The only question now is, will this continue and if it does, will another You-Know-Who emerge?
Willow Tree Academy is a fairly new RP forum- having opened up on November 23, 2010. It is, of course, a Harry Potter RPG, but it is set at a school in the Northwest of the United States, instead of at Hogwarts.
We encourage all members to progress their characters in a way that works for them. The most important thing for the staff is to make sure that our members are having a good time. The staff is more than willing to help every member get settled into the forum. We promote a friendly, respectful environment for guests and those who decide to register at the forum.
